Hey everyone, today I will be showing you some of my ideas for mise-en-scene. This includes costuming, makeup, etc. One idea I had for the costuming is since the main character goes through 5 days of, putting it simply, Hell, everyday his shirt color gets lighter and lighter, signifying getting closer to an end. The first day it is a black shirt (which is all that will be in the project) and it resembles bad things that will happen that day and as time goes on he wears a lighter an lighter shirt everyday until he reaches white. The white shirt symbolizes an ending and the after life because at the end he gets brutally killed. Well, not very brutally but still killed nonetheless. I also had the idea for water as sweat to show Ethan's fear in the film. It was a great idea and looks great. I'll provide images and videos to show what I've done.
Altogether I've had some pretty great ideas regarding my film/project.
